About me

I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Chicago Department of Economics, a National Science Foundation graduate research fellow, and an Institute of Education Sciences pre-doctoral fellow.

I am on the 2022-23 job market.

My fields of research are labor and public economics. My work leverages applied microeconomic methods guided by theory to understand the mechanisms of social mobility and evaluate policies aimed at promoting it.

Prior to graduate school, I completed my B.A. at the University of Pennsylvania, where I was involved in local nonprofits and the City of Philadelphia's anti-poverty agency, and interned at the White House National Economic Council in 2016.
