About me
I am a postdoctoral scholar at the Stone Center for Research on Wealth Inequality and Mobility at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy. In July 2023, I will join Cornell University's Department of Economics as a Klarman Fellow.
My fields of research are labor and public economics. My work leverages applied microeconomic methods guided by theory to understand the mechanisms of social mobility and evaluate policies aimed at promoting it.
I received my Ph.D. at the University of Chicago Department of Economics in December 2022 as a National Science Foundation graduate research fellow and an Institute of Education Sciences pre-doctoral fellow. Prior to graduate school, I completed my B.A. at the University of Pennsylvania, where I was involved in local nonprofits and the City of Philadelphia's anti-poverty agency, and interned at the White House National Economic Council in 2016.
